Compatibility

Our software is compatible with most of the modern 64 systems, however it’s difficult to keep track on older versions so try to keep your system updated to fully compatibility with our products

Mac OS X 10.15 (Catalina) to Mac OS 26 (Tahoe)
Minimum: 2.8GHz i5 (quad-core), 8GB RAM
Recommended: M1/M2 or 2.8GHz i7 (six-core), 16GB RAM
Intel and Apple Silicon Supported
64-bit DAW Required (32 bit DAWs not supported)

Windows 10 and Windows 11 (latest Service Pack, 64-bit)
Minimum: Intel Core 2.8GHz i5 (quad-core) or AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM
Recommended: Intel 2.8GHzi7 (six-core) or AMD R7 2700, 16GB RAM
64-bit DAW required (32-bit DAWs not supported)

Installation

You can install the Tribe Hub app by downloading the Tribe Universe installer, this installer will install all the software you need to use our sound libraries, this includes the Tribe Core engine (Standalone and Plugin versions) and the Tribe Hub Application for Sound Libraries installation. You can download the Tribe Universe installer from your Account Page.

Opening the App

After Installing you’ll find the app in the default app or program location of your system

MacOS:
MacHD/Applications

Windows:
C:/Program Files/TRIBE Hub
(You’ll find a direct access icon in the desktop if you selected this option in the installation process)

Logging in

The First time you open the Hub app it will synchronize some external assets and after that you’ll find the Log screen, here you can Access to your products by logging in with the same credentials you used to create an account in tribeinstruments.com.

You can click in the “Eye” icon to preview the password characters.

Any change to your account like updating the password needs to be done in your account page, the buttons “Forgot Password” and “Create Account” will redirect you to the corresponding websites.

Zoom Factor

You can change the Zoom factor or the Size of the window to fit in your screen.

Just Click in the “Eye” Icon in the upper left corner and select the % factor that you want or Click & Drag the “Dots” icon in the lower right.

Selecting the Sample Folder

The first time you open the Tribe Hub it will prompt to select the Sample folder where all the Tribe Instruments samples will live. Click the “Folder” icon to select the folder.
You can select a folder in a external drive (SSD recommended)

You can change this folder in the settings menu after you moved all your samples to the new location.

Installing an instrument

After logging in you’ll find all your products under the “My Instruments” or “My Effects” Sections.

Clicking the “Download” Button will download the instrument samples in the previously selected location and all of the data.

If you bought the physical product you’ll receive the samples in a hard drive and you can click the “HDD Install” button to install this samples selecting the files from the drive.

Product Info

IClicking the “Info” Icon will show the status of the instrument, the activated devices and will check if there is an available update.

Library Status

You can fix this errors by clicking in the “Repair” Button.

Settings

Here you can:

Sample Folder Path: Change the Sample folder, keep in mind that you’ll need to move all the samples to the new location before changing this settings. you can click in “Open Current Sample Folder” if you forgot the location.

Download Data: Some of the libraries rely on wavetables, this will be downloaded automatically after selecting the sample folder but if you want to re-download them or updating you can click in the “Download Wavetables button” (The tables will be downloaded in the selected samples folder always.

The Tribe Hub app needs some cache data like icons and information, if something went wrong with this initial synchronization you can force the download of this data by clicking in the “Download Tribe Hub Data”

Engine Status: Here you can check the status of the Tribe Core engine and the default locations of the Plugins. You can Re-install or update the Tribe Universe installer too.

Account Section

By Clicking in the “Account” button you can check your account name, user email and the current Machine ID. This is useful if you need support.

You can go to the my account page to manage your account or Log out from the Hub.

Watch Tutorials

You can watch the installation, product and engine tutorials with our leaving the Hub, just click in the “Book” Button to go the Tutorials section.

Explore more sounds

You can check the latest releases, promotions and go to the store by clicking the “Store” Button.
